Hulu is thinking nearly offering stripped-down, less-expensive bundles for its over-the-top (OTT) video streaming service. In an interview alongside The Information, Hulu CEO Randy Freer says the fellowship is considering offering packages that focus exclusively on word too sports, non entertainment.


During the interview, Freer said the skinnier bundles would appeal to price-sensitive users too too test to a greater extent than profitable since they wouldn’t include wagon fees for multiple networks. Instead, subscribers would gain access to on-demand programming licensed through cable networks.


Hulu launched its alive telly streaming service inwards May 2017 to compete alongside like plans offered yesteryear YouTube TV, Sling TV, too DirecTV Now, amid others. Before this, the fellowship provided on-demand content only.


Currently, Hulu’s Watch Live TV packet is $40 per month. For this, subscribers have access to over l channels, including sports, news, entertainment, too more. For an extra $5 per month, Hulu includes commercial-free on-demand content.


On-Demand-only packages start at $7.99 per month.
